"I am prone to reactions to skin care products and the area under my eyes is especially sensitive. I have not experienced any irritation from this and I'm now on my second tube. I find it to be refreshing and suitably moisturising for my fairly young (23) skin however if you need really rich moisturisation you made need something more heavy duty x"

"I haven't yet been able to find an eye balm that will help to ease the colour under my eyes but this certainly helps to soothe my eyes in the mornings after a night doing university work. Its lasting me age as you don't need much and the preciise end of the nozzle is great for aiming it where you need to. Not sure if I'll buy it again yet but I have a feeling I shall."

"it retails at a very good price and it fefels very nice when i apply it but i dont think its mkaing any difference to my eyes and puffyness even though ive been using this for quite a while now , but i think id reccomend this to anyone with tired looking eyes because its cheap and u cant really go wrong with simple :)"

"Soothing, nourishing, and slightly firming. This product has all but got rid of the few slight lines I had around my eyes (which were probably due to dehydration as I'm only in my 20's and have never sunbathed). Also, it doesn't create little lumps around my eyes like some richer products I have used. I love it."

"I also spent Saturday in A and E with swollen eyes as a result of using Simple Eye Cream which claims to be suitable for sensitive skin. I was extremely surprised and disappointed that Simple's products caused such an allergic reaction for me to have to use steriods anti histamines and eye drops. Surely, if someone has made similar comments to mine (Jane Rowe, Cambridge, 20/12/2008), Simple should issue a warning on their products. "

"Awful. The claim that it is kind on sensitive skin is wrong. I ended up with eyes so swolen that I had to go to the local hospital and ended up with steroids, antihistamines and over £17 of prescription charges. "Response from Simple" At Simple we take any complaint such as this very seriously and have been in direct contact with Ms Rowe to make sure the circumstances are fully investigated, following our normal procedure. When developing our products we always work very closely with dermatologists to ensure that our formulations are tested and approved for use on sensitive skin, however there is always a small chance that an irritation may occur. "
