Back in November 09 Twitter launched “Twitter lists” as a new way to organise who you follow on Twitter. The lists offer a way for you to bunch together other users on Twitter into groups, so you can get an overview of what they are up to. Providing a real time stream of their tweets. Pretty handy if you follow over 1000 people or as we call them tweople or tweeps.
In summary: If you are on Twitter follow one of our lists or follow the individuals on our lists so their updates appear in your twitter stream. We are updating these lists weekly so make sure you check back.
If you are not sure about Twitter, or perhaps not even heard of it (!!) then go visit the “Getting Started Information” from the lovely tweeps at Twitter:
We absolutely love Twitter as it has provided us with a new avenue to promote Simple VIP and all the fun things going on over here . It has also allowed us to connect with people on a more personal level. There are many people on Twitter whom we would call our close friends (New twitter list coming soon), and along with making friends and connections we have been able to provide support to others, have a laugh and promote the people worth promoting. It’s just fantastic.
Something that we have been really keen to do on Twitter is to understand more about the beauty bloggers and how they wish to be contacted from brands like ourselves. Several companies are now contacting bloggers as they have started to understand more about the possibilities available of word of mouth spread from within the bloggers communities. If you have joined Twitter do pop by and say hello it will be lovely to see you. Feel free to recommend tweeps to us and we will do the same in return. Don't forget too that we are updating our Simple VIP Connections page, so if there are any blogs you would like to recommend let us know about them at this post here.

As a recent Twitter converter, I am still trying to get to grips with it!!!! Must persevere, since clearly it is such a valuable, useful and important tool for brand, companies etc. to really connect with their audience and keep them updated:) (thinking ahead to my future career!! lol)

Now I hate Twitter personally, I'm a Facebook addict instead, lol! What I like about Facebook is the ability to post/view pictures and videos, you can only post a link to them on Twitter and these often don't work properly. If you start up on Facebook I'll happily become a fan ;o)

I know the basic idea of Twitter is that people send short messages into 'cyberspace' which others can follow, but that's about it. I think for me the jury is still out as to the usefulness of Twitter for me.

Twitter seems to be a great way of getting stuff across to consumers; partuicularly if you tweet offers or competitions people will re-tweet and increase brand exposure.

I dont often use twitter but for companies to start noticing beauty bloggers is great, also it would be good to raise awareness of the brand by promoting it via youtube, there's some great make up artists etc on there that millions of people watch their videos and listen to their tips and purchase the products they recommend.

I already follow you on twitter....i'm @sassyele! I love the idea of what you plan to do on here as i currently have my own blog and update regularly - i'm always on the lookout for new things to blog about and as Simple is one of my favourite brands, i may have to indulge in some more goodies and get some reviews done!
