Hi Jane,

Thanks for taking the time to complete the Simple Skin Health Check; we really hope that you and your skin will benefit from everything you’ll read in this report.

If you follow the advice below you should start to see and feel a real difference in the way your skin looks and feels, as well as the way you feel yourself. The tips are all designed to help you look and feel great at the same time.

When viewing your personal report online, make your way through it using the section navigation on the left hand side. Navigate each individual section using the page numbers on the top right hand side of each page.

Before we look at what you’ve told us about your own skin, we thought we’d give you an overview of what you can generally expect from your skin when you’re in your thirties.
If you just want to know about your own skin, just forward to the YOUR SKIN TYPE section.

Although you’re still young, and your skin is generally in pretty good shape, throughout your thirties, you can probably see the early signs of your complexion maturing – perhaps a few fine lines here and there or some loss of skin tone. This is because skin cell renewal slows down slightly in your thirties – but it’s nothing to worry about.

You might notice that your skin feels a little drier and thicker than it did when you were in your teens and twenties, and it could look slightly duller, or uneven in tone. You might still be prone to the occasional adult breakout. A great tip for restoring your glow is to exfoliate regularly; this removes dead cells from your skin’s surface and lets your skin breathe. Don’t overdo it though – too much exfoliation can irritate your skin, we find that twice a week is usually enough.

Towards the end of your thirties, age spots and brown pigmentation marks, or 'sun spots', may appear, and these – (like most of the changes to your skin in your thirties) are due to environment and sun exposure. The great news is that you can stop this sort of damage in its tracks with the right approach to skin care. Start taking care of your skin when you hit your thirties and you can keep it looking great for decades to come.

We are all getting older - but we don’t have to look it! The bottom line is that you must keep your skin moist and hydrated – which means drinking plenty of water every day and using a good moisturiser.
