Your Skin Health Check report

Hi Sarah,

Thanks for taking the time to complete the Simple Skin Health Check; we really hope that you and your skin will benefit from everything you’ll read in this report.

If you follow the advice below you should start to see and feel a real difference in the way your skin looks and feels, and make the most of your health at the same time. The tips are all designed to help you look and feel great.

When viewing your personal report online, make your way through it using the section navigation on the left hand side. Navigate each individual section using the page numbers on the top right hand side of each page.

Before we look at what you’ve told us about your own skin, we thought we’d give you an overview of what you can generally expect from your skin when you’re in your teens.

If you just want to know about your own skin though, jump ahead to the YOUR SKIN TYPE section.

During your teens your skin should be young, firm and in great condition, although puberty might have lead you to find that your hormones disrupt your skin occasionally which can leave it looking oily, triggering spots or breakouts. Sometimes stress can cause breakouts too, so if you’re having a particularly stressful time – exams are a classic example of this – try to find a way to relax and take some time for yourself.

Age-related problems like fine lines, sun spots and wrinkles are in the distant future for you – so make sure they stay away as long as possible by staying out of the sun whenever you can, drinking lots of water, avoiding smoking and following a regular skin care routine. You’re probably thinking that skin care is something for older people to worry about, but even if you think you’re too busy to start thinking about looking after your skin, starting young is actually the best thing you can do to avoid problems in the future.

Again, before we get down to the nitty gritty of your own skin, we thought you might like to know a bit more about the structure of your skin, and how it work. If you’d rather just get to the crux of the matter and find out about your own skin, just forward to the YOUR SKIN TYPE section now.
